Abstract

The study examined accounting coaching on coachees' performance. The objective of the study was to ascertain the effect mentoring in accounting have on accounting mentees. The study was conducted in Abia state, where data was obtained through questionnaire administration. The population of the study consist of 167 professional accountants in both Umuahia and Aba towns. The study's sample was arrived at through the use of Taro Yamene formula which gave a figure of 118. Analysis of the data was conducted through the use of regression analysis, and the result revealed that coaching in accounting has a significant positive impact on coachees. this imply that coachees performance will rise in proportion to the amount of accounting coaching provided. According to the study's findings, coachees' performance is significantly impacted by accounting coaching. The study suggests that in order to address how the side effect in their current accounting coaching can be recognized and maximized, coaches should employ routine supervision. For great outcome on the part of coachees, they should receive both team coaching and personal coaching for their own personal growth.
